This instrument has a 6mm spatula on one end a 10mm long spatula on the other end; each spatula has a rounded anterior surface and a flat posterior surface. Both spatulas are vaulted to conform to the natural curvature of the cornea and have a 2mm beveled tip for breaking through the peripheral edge of the flap before planar stripping of the interface.
