The Ernest Nucleus Cracker features a patented cross-action mechanism which allows the surgeon to crack a 2.5mm incision without stretching the wound. Its delicate paddle shaped jaws have serrated outer surfaces to engage the nucleus and beveled corners for ease of extraction through the small incision.
