Tutoplast® Pericardium processed allografts are virally safe, dehydrated, sterile human tissue grafts. 5-year shelf life with room temperature storage. Surgical applications include - Drainage implant/valve implantation; Repair corneoscleral fistulas; Trabeculectomy; Repair exposed scleral buckles; Phaco burns.
The pericardium patch grafts are comprised of low profile collagen with a nominal thickness of 400 microns; multi-directional matrix for superior surgical handling and suture utility; a low-profile which prevents graft bulkiness over the implant.
During the last 30 years, over 1 million Tutoplast® allografts have been surgically implanted without a single documented case of disease transmission.
