These forceps have a unique asymmetrical structure, the right tip is dull but the left tip is 0.5mm longer and sharpened. The left sharp tip can make a keen puncture like a cystotome before making CCC and the right tip will not scratch the cortex. It becomes easy to find the end of anterior capsulotomy and stable ccc is possible.
