Dr. Pérez-Silguero’s Lens Extraction Device is designed to remove an implanted IOL lens inside the anterior segment. • Designed to remove an implanted, damaged IOL inside the anterior segment • Device is introduced in the chamber via a paracentesis (20G) • Device is placed such that a small portion of the optic's edge of the IOL is between the two edges of the loop • With the device, immobilizing the lens, an IOL scissors or a simple Vannas scissors can be introduced to cut the lens into manageable pieces • Suitable for any kind of IOL including C-loop IOLs and single piece IOLs
