Used to remove the anterior layer of corneal stroma to expose the stroma bed prior to air injection. Used to cut the posterior stroma lamella into 4 quadrants and remove after big bubble formation. Jaws are highly polished to glide across the Descemets membrane. Unique safety platform on the lower tine ensures blades are well separated from Descemets membrane when cutting the stroma. Available in both left (AE-5666) and right (AE-5667) configurations.
