Based on the design of an angled dental mirror, this instrument features a highly reflective 2.5mm diameter mirrored tip. It can be used to examine areas behind the iris (zonules, ciliary sulcus and the nucleus equator), as well as to determine if an IOL is seated correctly. In addition, with the use of retro-illumination the mirror can help to identify any corneal endothelial defects.
