Who is Envision?
Envision is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life and provide inspiration and opportunity for people who are blind or visually impaired through employment, outreach, rehabilitation, education and research. Envision serves people across the nation and has physical locations in Wichita, Kansas and Dallas, Texas as well as 16 different U.S. Military Bases.
What does Envision Do?
Envision provides personalized and comprehensive solutions for people who are blind or visually impaired with opportunities to develop and improve professional competencies, boost self-assurance, and promote independence. This organization achieves this through research, employment, community programs and rehabilitation services.
RESEARCH
The Envision Research Institute (ERI) plays a key role in Envision’s mission to improve the quality of life and provide inspiration for those who are blind or visually impaired. The goal of ERI is to remove barriers and challenge the status quo of what is possible in the daily lives of those who are blind or visually impaired. ERI is uniquely positioned to further the understanding of visual impairment through direct contact with Envision’s incredibly diverse community of individuals who are blind and visually impaired.

For 90 years, Envision’s manufacturing facilities have been accessible and inclusive sources of employment for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Envision provides unique and individualized training and recruitment support services. Through specialized training and consulting, Envision connects qualified candidates with employers seeking to enhance their organization with the unique skillsets offered by visually impaired professionals.
Vision Rehabilitation Services
Envision has two vision rehabilitation centers in the US where they provide multidisciplinary vision rehabilitation by combining adaptive technology, training, and more to maximize visual function.
