Thorlakson Z-LASIK Flap Lifter

Created by Richard Thorlakson, MD of Phoenix, AZ, this double-ended instrument was designed to both identify the edge and easily dissect a LASIK flap created with a femtosecond laser. It is has a 12.25mm spatula with 2.25mm beveled notches for dissecting large adhesions that may be encountered. A modified Sinskey Hook on the opposite end of the instrument aids in finding an entrance site for the spatula to start the separation. You can find the Thorlakson Z-LASIK Flap Lifter (K3-2536) on Katena.com.
