Retrieving subluxated implants from the vitreous cavity can be difficult. Currently available micro grasper forceps are designed to grip onto the capsular bag remnants that envelop the IOL and are not ideal for gripping the optic or the haptic. This specially designed atraumatic forceps, designed in 23G, has gently sand-blasted gripping surfaces that allow the surgeon to reach and hold onto the IOL optic or haptic as needed
